March 16th - Update: Edge of Space Sciences Balloon #268 was a success.
EOSS used the 448.450 repeater Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 0600 until about 1000 for tracking and recovery of their student payloads. The payloads landed northeast of Anton Co.
March 4th: PPFMA Annual Meeting Notes
On March 3rd, the annual membership meeting of PPFMA was held at 10AM and the required annual meeting of the PPFMA Board of Directors was held at noon, both in the Community Room of the CSPD Stetson Hills building.
The next annual meeting will be in March 2019. About 6 to 8 weeks before the meeting, the dates and location will be announced here and via the PPFMA-CO Yahoo Group email reflector.
SKYWARN /NOAA Severe Weather Net on 146.970.
Runs DAILY from May 1st through August 31st starting at 12:30 PM. It usually lasts less than 15 minutes.
Additional nets may be opened whenever there is severe weather in the area. All nets support the Pueblo Weather Office with spotter reports, etc.
ARES TUESDAY NIGHT net on 146.970 every Tuesday at 7:00 PM and ends by 7:30 PM.
ARES DIGI TRAINING net on 448.450, every 2nd and 4th Tuesday immediately after the regular ARES net and ends by 8:30 PM.
HAMMIN SAMS net on 448.450, every Thursday at 7:30 and ends by 8:30 PM
